Inspiring anticipation ahead of today's UEFA EURO 2020 opening, skybet sent much-loved pundits Roy Keane and Miku Richards on a unique trip to analyze the tournament and the latest events in the football world.
Former rivals in the Manchester derby, the pair formed a strong relationship at Sky Sports and became an important double act for fans.
In the first episode, the pair shared their opinions on a range of football topics, with the duo kicking off with a flashback to their careers and discussing England's chances for the highly anticipated tournament.
Keane was quick to question Richards' career at Manchester City, teasing his co-anchor over the fact that he didn't "blow the stage '' due to not participating in the starting 11 on his debut, and also scored the scorer instead of the winner as his first professional goal.
Commenting on the quality of the England team, Keane remarked: “Gareth is in a great position. I think he has brilliant opportunities with midfielders and attacking players, Gareth is a lucky man.”
There were many iconic moments at the European Championships and this was second episode, in which Manchester's former rivals plunged into the history books to remember.
It was a spectacular volley from Marco Van Basten that brought the duo together as they agreed it was "hard to beat" as the most iconic moment in EURO history.
The conversation then turned to potential regrets as former City star Richards questioned the former United captain about his clash with Alf-Inge Haaland and Keane returned with questions about Mario Balotelli.
However, the love for Home Alone and Rambo brought the couple back to the same level as they discussed their favorite movies.
“I still enjoy watching all the top players,” Keane said as excitement about the upcoming tournament emerged during their discussions.
Jude Bellingham was also looking forward to a big summer as they stressed that a new European football star could emerge in the next couple of months.
Discussing Harry Kane's prospects as a player, Richards noted that Euro 2020 is a "massive tournament" for the Tottenham Hotspur striker, who is rumored to be considering leaving the club.
However, Keane's interest in the tournament seemed to be centered on former Manchester United player Ronaldo.
"Obviously he's not getting any younger and he had a tough time at Juventus, but this industry we're in is amazing," he said. “We know how brilliant he is, how great he is, his leadership as the winning captain, even with Portugal, winning the tournament – now all of a sudden there is a question mark over him. He could show up and go into business.”
Having completed their journey, the pair were joined by Gary Neville, who accompanied them as they approached the home of English football.
The trio shared their thoughts on how far they think England can go this summer and where they think the tournament will be won or lost.
