In a recent release Legal Sports Report The co-hosts discussed the legalization of retail sports betting in Maryland, which is described as a "robust" market compared to other states.
Who is this?
Dustin Hooker , Head of Content, Legal Sports Report
Matt Brown , Managing Editor of Legal Sports Report
What do they say?
“We work on time and we will have a reliable market here, unlike in Florida,” Hooker commented: “Everyone who wants to be in Maryland will be in Maryland, and the number of bookmakers is limited. but that doesn't make sense."
He added: “Everything will be fine in Maryland. I can say with confidence that we will have a solid market and if you bet on sports you will get all the major players and then some. We don't have exact dates, but I would be shocked if you didn't bet online on Super Bowl next year."
Brown remarked: “What we have seen in other states, for example, in Arizona, in Maryland, will have the right to sell not only casinos and racetracks, but also stadiums. We're yet to see how this fully plays out, especially during the NFL season to see how it could make a difference, but we know that FedEx Field, M&T Bank Stadium, and Camden Yards will have sportsbooks inside all of them. Okay."
