behind the scenes
Kalamba Games takes viewers backstage with its 50th title age of Huracan, which will be released next month.
On the company's official YouTube channel Andy Sekula , Head of Kalamba Games Department: introduces viewers to the concept, the math, and what it all means to the players.
How did the original mathematical and artistic concept come about?
Since this is our 50th game, we started thinking about what we can do to make the game special in some way. On the one hand, we have taken a mechanic and a title with a theme that will resonate with our players. On the other hand, we wanted to add something special because this is our 50th game.
That was our initial thought when we started thinking about both the mechanics and the theme and how we could add Calamba's rotation to make it even more special.
We settled on the mechanics of K-Cash, related to Mayan magic here and there. The theme will create a great combination that will be highly appreciated by our players.
What are the features in the game?
The main features we see in the game are K-cash and we think these features work really well and reinforce each other. This is because the progress you make in collecting cash and multipliers while playing is carried over to the K-Cash spins, making the K-Cash spins even more exciting and providing even more opportunities for huge wins. Obviously, one of our signature features, namely HyperBonus, will be the shortcut for whatever you choose: K-Cash spins or free spins.”
Why the Maya theme?
One obvious reason is that we saw a lot of potential in this topic. In fact, our portfolio lacks any Mayan themes. In addition, we have many reasons to believe that the theme of Maya in the context of the game will resonate with our audience.
In terms of instability, how does Age of Huracan compare to other Kalamba games?
I would argue that, as you would expect from Kalamba Games, this would refer to the upper limit of volatility when viewed in the borderline slots sense. At the same time, if you look at Calamba's portfolio, it will definitely not be the game with the highest volatility, it is somewhere in the middle.
In which markets do you think the game will be better?
I think it will be good when it comes to UK or UK players, German players will love this game just as much as Italian players.
