Belgian gambling operator Gaming1 has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).
Under the terms of their membership, Gaming1 betting brands, including Circus and Zamba, will now share betting data with IBIA's global monitoring and alerting platform.
Gaming1 is part of the Argent Group and is a retail and online sports betting company primarily targeting the European and US sports betting markets.
“Betting integrity is increasingly becoming a central part of the licensing and regulatory process in markets around the world,” said Gaming1 co-founder and COO Sylvain Boniver.
“We believe it is vital that betting operators work together to use their unique market data and intelligence gathering capabilities to address regulatory concerns and protect consumers and sports from corruption.
“IBIA, as the leading international integrity organization for regulated operators, is an ideal partner for Gaming1 and marks the achievement of our market and player protection goals,” added Boniver.
IBIA members account for $137 billion (£99.6 billion) of global betting turnover per year and nearly 50% of all regulated online betting business.
Operators including bet365, Entain, Betsson Group, Kindred, William Hill and LeoVegas are part of IBIA.
The organization represents the sector in high-level policy forums such as the IOC, the UN, the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
