Regulatory and technical compliance provider Maxima Compliance has hired former Paddy Power Betfair (PPB) Product Manager Catalin Zaha as its first Chief Product Officer (CPO).
Zaha accepted his new position after six years at Flutter Entertainment, where he has held a number of roles, including being Product Owner for Regulatory and Financial Platform Data.
He has also served as a working group expert on CEN/TC 456 advocating for online gambling oversight at the BSI.
Zaha said: “Maxima Compliance has been on my radar for several years because of the innovative and technological approach they take to compliance.
“I am thrilled to be joining the company at such an exciting time for Maxima and look forward to further developing what is already a world class product.”
In his new role, Zaha will manage the Maxima Compliance product suite called Complitech, a database of technical requirements for the rest of the gaming industry.
Hacksaw Gaming, Authentic Gaming, and OneTouch are a few industry brands that have taken advantage of the package's capabilities.
Further expansion of the Maxima Compliance portfolio occurred earlier this year with the launch of Maxima DataVault.
The Platform receives XML and JSON data from game operators and providers and may save it in a format required by local regulators in certain jurisdictions.
Zaha will be working in Romania in his new role.
