BetVictor has hired former William Hill Compliance Officer Dan Marsden as the new Chief Compliance Officer.
Marsden spent six years at Hills, including three years as head of compliance, where he was responsible for overseeing reporting, compliance, and regulatory processes.
He joined William Hill in 2015 as a Compliance Specialist and in 2016 became a Compliance Manager from the firm's Gibraltar office.
Marsden also worked for Barclays Bank for seven years, holding a number of roles in account analysis and management.
Marsden's departure from the Hills follows a £2.9bn takeover of British betting firm Caesars Entertainment that closed last week.
Marsden will be based at BetVictor's Gibraltar office in his new role and will carry out the same role as he did at Hills.
BetVictor is currently gearing up to start operations in the newly regulated German sports betting market when it launches in July.
The operator will support the Bild Bet brand by securing a partnership with the German media heavyweight Bild and its parent company Axel Springer SE.
