New partnership betway with G2 Esports welcomed Carlos "Ocelote" Rodriguez in a recent promotional video.
In an issue titled "What are the chances?" Rodriguez races through a crowded city to see his team compete in a tournament, using freerunning and parkour, a segway, horse and wagon to help him along the way.
Since its launch in 2015, G2 has become a notable player in the esports space, with players from all over the world participating.
The duo will collaborate on new social media promotions, encouraging growth across multiple channels and working together to create show matches, live streams, video content, fan activations, and giveaways.
Commenting on the new agreement, Rodriguez said: “2021 is already full of good news for the G2 army. Betway has been around for a long time and has managed to stay relevant thanks to great content and collaborations with key players.
“They are just great at making sure we can showcase all of the G2 brand attributes in everything we do together and I can guarantee we will have a lot of fun over the next few years.”
Betway maintains a strong presence in the esports space, in addition to horse racing, football and cricket, through agreements with organizations such as the Brazilian groups Furia and MIBR.
