Ben Mee answers burning questions from Clarets supporters in latest Dafabet video

Burnley F.C. and sponsors Dafabet united again to be together record a video, this time featuring Captain Ben Mee, who was asked questions on Twitter by Clarets supporters on #AskMee's label.

Mi faced a number of questions from fans Premier League From the best performance he's ever been to to what hair product he uses.

Understandably, however, most of the questions revolved around football, with one fan asking what was the proudest moment of his 10-year career at Burnley.

“I have worked my whole career to become a club captain,” Mi replied. “Becoming the captain of the Premier League team, I am very proud of my achievement. A club like this - a solid Premier League team - is a great achievement and I'm very proud of it."

The defender was also asked what his favorite Burnley chant was. While he has struggled to narrow things down by identifying a few claret chants he loves to hear on the pitch, Mee did use the question as an opportunity to discuss the fans' long-awaited return to stadiums.

“If we could hear some good songs when the fans come back, that would be great,” he remarked. "If they used lockdown to create some new ones, that would be fantastic."

When asked about his career after the game, Mee hinted at a potential shift towards management or coaching, but stated that he is still a long way off the field and plans to join Burnley for the foreseeable future.

The newly released video is based on Dafabet's previous fan engagement promotion featuring Burnley players. Nick Pope and Charlie Taylor which gave the fans a glimpse of the rest of the team.

Mee was actually a topic of conversation between the pair, as they gave him an award for being the "smartest" of the rest of the Burnley team.

Pope jokingly remarked that the Clarets have a "pretty low standard" when it comes to mental ability, but added, "I literally judged it the other day because he's probably the only one who brings a book on the coach with him." It's also not your everyday, regular daytime book. Maybe it's complete rubbish, but it looks pretty smart."
