Betting expert: Wayne Bridge backs Southgate to guard against complacency

After England's triumph over Germany on Tuesday night, after Monday's exhilarating double header, the three-day break in the European Championship for Three Lions fans will feel like a lifetime.

However, the action returns this weekend as the quarter-finals kick off with four mouth-watering draws.

Speaking on the latest edition of BettingExpert's 'The Big Stage' podcast, Wayne Bridge said England's strength could be key, especially as Ukraine were forced to play 120 minutes against Sweden on Tuesday.

He added that Southgate would seek to avoid complacency by highlighting some of the heavyweight nations already liquidated.

The Bridge were joined by Rory Jennings, who said he believes West Ham player Andriy Yarmolenko is a key threat to Ukraine on Saturday, while also expressing concern that this is the only game the Three Lions will play outside Wembley.

However, he stood by the odds as he reaffirmed his view that England are by far the best team, keeping all convictions that they will book their palace in the final four on Saturday.

The group also put together a draw betting builder, choosing captain Harry Kane to score first and pick up where he left off against Germany, England to keep a clean sheet and the same number of goals in both halves - a bet on what comes on 12/1.

Perhaps the most tempting of the matches this weekend: Belgium will play with Italy. Bridge details how impressed he is with Mancini's team at this tournament.

Both Jennings and Bridge have pointed out that the absence of Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard is the difference between the two sides in what was previously considered a "clash of the titans".

It's also an amazing weekend of racing with Irishracing.com and Bettingexpert announcing the Coral Eclipse as part of Shane Anderson's acclaimed Jump To It show.

Anderson was joined by racing experts, Ed Quigley and Stephen Harris, who shared their vision of what they can expect from the Coral Eclipse, as well as reminiscing about some of the amazing races this past weekend.
